What does Sellro do?
Sellro is a complete website builder that allows you to create an online shop to sell your products and services online. It lets you simply organise your products, customise your theme, accept credit card payments, track and respond to orders.
How do I install Sellro?
Sellro is web based software. This means there's no installation required and it works with all operating systems (including Windows and MacOS)! We host Sellro so you don't have to worry about installing, upgrading or maintaining any software or web servers.
How will my domain name appear to the public?
You will have a Sellro domain name, e.g. user.sellro.com. This can easily be changed to your own personal domain name www.yourbussiness.com. This applies to both Sellro Lite and Sellro Prepay.
Can I use my own domain name with my shop?
Yes. Sellro lets you customise your online shop with your own domain name on all plans. Once you have activated a plan, you can add your own domain to your shop.
Can I Try Before I Buy?
Yes! Sellro offers a completely free, fully-functional 30-day trial that you can use to try out Sellro before you commit to Sellro Prepay. We don't even require a credit card.
There is also Sellro Lite, which is completely free.
Do You Charge a Set Up Fee?
No, Sellro plans do not have any set up fees.
Do you take commission from my sales?
No. Unlike other services, Sellro does not charge any listing or per transaction fees.
Do I need to be a designer/programmer to change my shop design?
No. All you need is a basic understanding of the internet. Your admin control panel (Sellro Manager) is accessible from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. We provide help documents, guides and tips and our technical support team are able to guide you every step of the way.
What methods of payment can my customers use?
Your customers can pay you securely and directly using their credit/debit cards with the PayPal payment gateway. You can also accept payment manually through your shop such as cheques, postal orders, bank transfers or cash on delivery.
Can I use FTP to upload my own custom designs and images?
Sellro does not provide FTP access to your shop. You can upload groups of images into your shop through your control panel, Sellro MAnager. This limitation is in place so that merchants do not modify their shop in such a way that they are no longer upgradeable.
Where is Sellro Hosted?
Currently, Sellro is hosted on a premium infrastructure in top tier datacenters in the United Kingdom.
